Giving Tuesday is a movement to establish a national day of giving to kick-off the charitable Christmas season. It is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Community service has always been a hallmark of RC and a defining characteristic of a Marist education.
In conjunction with Giving Tuesday, RC is conducting a one-day fundraising drive to raise funds to support the community service programs organized and run by Campus Ministry.
Every year close to 75% of RC students participate in community service programs and projects, and collectively they perform over 2,100 service hours.
This is all made possible through donor support.
We're aware this is a time of personal and financial demands. Although we kindly ask you to be as generous as you can and help promote this campaign by sharing it with others. Together, we can all make a difference.
Below is a sample of the projects your generosity makes possible.
$50 pays for the RC students to host monthly service projects
$100 pays for an RC students to attend retreats
$250 pays for an RC students to attend THE Marist Youth gathering retreat
$500 PAY FOR THE OPERATIONS OF CAMPUS MINISTRY
