A proud second-generation lion who began his career as an educator at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, Florida. After five years, he returned north to join the administration at the Marist Brothers Center at Esopus. He now serves as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Marist Brothers USA Province, supporting students across ten Marist high schools nationwide.

She is co-owner of On The Mark Communications, a full-service marketing agency with 25+ years of success and expertise in brand strategy, client engagement and creative leadership. She enjoys giving back to the school that shaped her and introduced her to lifelong friends—and her husband, a fellow alum. Nicol is also a proud mother of a 21-year-old daughter who inspires her passion for education and community involvement.

His passion for finance and business was discovered through the school’s special business program. Growing up, he spent countless hours on Roselle Catholic’s sports fields, cheering on his two older siblings at their games and track meets. He currently works at Verizon as a Senior FP&A Analyst.

As a longtime advocate for Catholic school education, he has nearly 40 years of experience in fund development, serving Catholic institutions nationwide as a consultant and Executive Director on capital campaigns, annual appeals, stewardship appeals, planning studies and surveys. He is also active in the Archdiocese of Newark CYO Athletics as a coach, Athletic Director and Essex County Coordinator, and is married with four adult children and three grandchildren.
Erin Andersson (née Sisk) '06
Loyola University (BA in Speech Language Pathology/Audiology); Husson University (MS in Occupational Therapy); Boston University (OTD, expected in January 2026)
She has served the Marist mission in many roles, including associate director of admissions and marketing at Marist High School and as a teacher at Roselle Catholic. Erin has worked across various healthcare settings—including acute care, orthopedics, subacute care and now pediatrics—while integrating holistic practices into her life and working as a registered yoga instructor and Reiki master.
Virginia Gilcrest '67 GC
Montclair State University (BS in Biology); Kean University (MA in Educational Administration, Supervisor, Principal and School Business Administrator); Elizabeth General Nursing School (RN)
She served as an educator in both middle and elementary schools in the Roselle Park School District before becoming an elementary principal and later working as a special care nursery nurse. Now retired, she is a part-time adjunct professor at Kean University. Married, with two children who graduated from Roselle Catholic in 2007, she recently welcomed her first grandchild.

He enjoyed a successful career as a Partner at KPMG before retiring. His favorite Roselle Catholic memory is meeting lifelong friends, bonds that continue to enrich his life today. Now retired, he remains grateful for the experiences and relationships that have shaped his journey.

She worked in corporate medical laboratories and hospitals before dedicating her time to family, volunteering and serving as a trustee on four youth-focused boards locally and globally.
Larry Lukenda '67

He taught English at Roselle Catholic from 1971-1980 before serving as Fire Captain for the Linden Fire Department from 1980-2009. He is also a part of a proud legacy family at RC spanning from 1963-2000.
Kevin Macalos '14
Kean University (BS and MS in Accounting)
During his career at Roselle Catholic, he was an active member in student government, theatre and Marist Youth, developing his leadership, creativity and service. He continued his commitment to the Marist mission through the Marist Young Adult Advisory Committee, supporting mentoring and community-building efforts. He now works as a senior auditor at WilkinGuttenplan, specializing in CIRA engagements.
Joe Savage '74
Manhattan College (BA in English); Seton Hall University (MBA, Finance)
He spent most of his career with commercial banking organizations including Webster Financial Corp and CoBank. A former board member of various charitable organizations, he now serves on the board of a publicly traded financial company. Now retired, he enjoys time with his wife, five children, ten grandchildren and beloved Roselle Catholic.
Tom Schultz '72
Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (BS in Pharmacy and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences)
For the past 18 years, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Graduate Studies at the Temple School of Pharmacy after 37 years at Johnson & Johnson, where he led the U.S. Pharmaceutical Sciences group for 14 years and the Global Regulatory Sciences function for 20 years. He enjoys daily workouts, supporting his four grandchildren at sporting events, teaching, travel and spending time with his wife in Cape May and their two children.
Robert Stickles '66

He spent the first ten years of his career as a classroom teacher and administrator before practicing law for nearly 30 years. Returning to Catholic education in 2008, he taught at St. Joseph Regional, served as Principal and President at Roselle Catholic (2010–2015) and held short-term presidencies at Morris Catholic and DePaul Catholic, where he now works as an advisor to the President. He is married with three children and four grandchildren.
Jamar Wise '99

A multi-sport athlete at Roselle Catholic, he played both baseball and basketball before starting his successful finance career at NJ Transit in 2005.
