Second MVC Title in Program History

The Lions opened the season with nine consecutive victories, winning the annual RC Holiday Tournament in the process. RC carried a 16-1 record (12-1 in the MVC Mountain) into its Feb. 6 game at Hillside High School.
The RC squad includes senior Kelly Hayes, juniors Anthonia Ajumobi, Meghan Faughnan, Jenny Malone, Allison Skrec, Chika Dunga and sophomores Melissa Tobie and Betina Petit.
The coaching staff are all RC Alumni: Joe Skrec, Charlie Wischusen, Dennis Quigley, JohnLyp & Catherine Biddulph.
The Lady Lions will begin competing in the Union County Tournament on President's Day and the state tournament commences in March. RC lost two-point games in the quarterfinal round of both events last year.
